TB-500 is a synthesized fragment of Thymosin Beta 4. TB4 is a naturally-occurring peptide consisting of 43 amino acids, attributed to the tissue repair, angiogenesis, and modulation of inflammation in humans and most animals. TB-500 is a “slice” of 7 amino acids, isolated from TB-4 because of it’s specific function and small molecule size. The thought is that it may be a more direct approach to cellular repair and inflammation reduction than the whole 43 amino acid molecule of TB-4.
